im not as scared of missiles and nukes as im scared of misinformation tbh dont get me wrong, im still scared of them, its just, i feel like misinformation will outlast whatever war we have, and will in people's brains for generations to come

ive always been scared of misinformation, its a really powerful weapon, and it's powers get amplified due to social media. in the "right" hands, itll cause an immeasurable amount of damage.

and it's not gonna get any better. The "right" people have more powerful tools now, those people could edit videos, photos, "misinterpret" words. but now... there's LLMs and generative ai.

i know how powerful they are as a weapon but what about my family? my friends? but more importantly, the general population

the future used to feel dim, but i still saw hope and now? i dont even know anymore
