worked on high score system, im having problems with the game crashing on wasm but works on native, mayhaps i need to use bevy_http_client instead of ehttp?

added more projectile assets, added the ability to spawn enemies via events, tweaked enemy ai, no of enemies = level, animated player, tweaked parry

added display for the health, not happy about how it looks but its better than nothing. started adding enemy ai, but broke how players and enemies get damaged
i feel like im getting slowed down by lack of knowledge about how to do stuff in bevy tbh, but other than that it's fine
started working on game #3, spent 1 hour setting up, and then the next 7 hours battling quaternions and bevy, the compilation times are so atrocious JFC

I just installed the first v0.1 alpha of bevy cli, and didn't realize I'd need to install bevy lint as well. But instead of saying command not found or some other error, it detected that I need a specific version of rust installed, asked me if I want to install it, installed it.
drank a redbull in the morning instead of making coffee and my executive dysfunction is back, managed to get some work done with the game #1 but havent even started with sprite work for game #2
im not as scared of missiles and nukes as im scared of misinformation tbh
dont get me wrong, im still scared of them, its just, i feel like misinformation will outlast whatever war we have, and will in people's brains for generations to come

I originally started following it because of the DSL, I wanted to directly write shader code in my UI
made brownies using Betty Crocker's Triple Choco Brownie and Jesus fucking Christ it's so good, definitely worth all the problems which happened while making them
@steveklabnik.com i wonder if theres anything similar to git-school.github.io/visualizing-... for learning jj, for me git school was really helpful for visualizing what i was doing and also allowed me to just make commits and work with them without making actual changes
I want to use my laptop for building avatars while in vr and it runs Linux.
VCC isn't available for Linux and i don't want to tinker with proton/wine (since it always ends up with me failing and giving up + unsure if it breaks ToS)
tempted to uninstall bsky since its not better than other social media anymore.
I was enjoying my time here until yesterday, and today I'm watching it go in the same direction as Twitter. i came here to avoid those topics while still keeping in touch with the world and funny people...
